Meckel’s Diverticulum – Nuclear Medicine

Meckel’s diverticulum. Meckel's scan (Tc-99m-labeled RBCs) shows abnormal uptake in the lower abdomen. Increased uptake is seen in diverticula that contain ectopic gastric mucosa.
