Colonic Atresia

· Rare; likely secondary to in utero ischemic event
· Treatment: surgical


Radiographic features
· Abdominal film: distal obstruction often with "frothy" appearance of air mixed with meconium in RLQ
· Enema: small caliber distal unused colon; no filling proximal to atretic segment
