Hepatic Masses

Lymphoma

  1. Pathogenesis:
  • Lymphoma is a common disease, but liver involvement is unusual. When liver masses are present, diagnosis of lymphoma is more likely when extensive adenopathy is found elsewhere.
  1. Radiographic findings:
  • Solid hypoattenuating masses (arrows).

Note the hypoattenuating masses
(arrows) typically seen in cases of
lymphoma of the liver.
