Metastases

Cancers that most commonly metastasize to the stomach are, in order frequency, melanoma, breast, lung, colon, prostate, leukemia, and lymphoma (non-gastric primary). Clinically presents as GI bleeding and anemia (40%).

Radiographic Features:

  • Solitary mass (50%)

  • Multiple nodules (30%)

  • Linitis Plastica ( 20%); especially breast

  • Multiple umbilicated nodules (melanoma)
