Lymphoma
Five year old male who originally presented with a small subcutaneous nodule under his right eye. The nodule was excised and pathology revealed B cell precursor lymphoblastic lymphoma. The patient was treated with chemotherapy. Approximately 2 years after initiation of chemotherapy a testicular mass was noted by the patients mother. Ultrasound showed an enlarged right testicle with increased Doppler arterial flow. Restaging PET/CT was ordered.
There is increased FDG activity throughout the enlarged right testicle with maximum SUV 2.6 and average SUV 1.9 concerning for involvement by lymphoma. The testicular lesion was subsequently biopsied and pathology revealed recurrent lymphoma.
