Benign Thyroid Nodule
81 year old male with solitary pulmonary nodule. PET/CT ordered for evaluation.
There is a 10 mm hypodensity in the right thyroid lobe which demonstrated no abnormal FDG activity and had been stable in size by CT for two years. This likely represents a cyst or benign adenomatous thyroid nodule.
